Tho commencement exercises of Jasper Collcgo last Monday night, at Collego Hall, wero very pleasant, and displayed caro on tho part of the youug gentlemen participating in tbo preparation of their subject, and of the faculty in tho general arrangements, Thcro wero two graduates in tho commercial course, Mr. J. 11. Garaghan, of Washington, Ind., and Mr. Roswell A. Cartor, of Don

Jaun, Ind. The fonnor was awarded the salutatory, and chose for his subject 'Gladstono and Ireland." Ho is an enthusiastic admirer of the great Premier, and has faith that Ireland will onco more bo tnado a happy island through his efforts. Mr. Carter had tho valedictory, am'
