Very little seems to be generally known of fowl cholera, as is shown by the almost univeesal neglect to prop
erly guard against its outbreak, and the frequently confessed innbilitytq suppress It wltea once it become ee tablished in a flock. That the disease is strictly sporadic will not be denied by an intelligent observer of its inception and progress. Thnt it is due to local aad preventable influences is, I think, equally true.
