Haw Toan. Nov. S. Fire broke out in the W indoor Theater, Ho. eft Bowery, shortly before twelve o'clock to-night. The flames epread rapidly, la a few mtaatee after Mm alarm sounded Mm whole structure waa a mass of Asanas. All efforts of the Fire Department were unavailing to cheek Mm oosmagration, and Mm building wee totally destroyed. The flames eomnranlcatod to several adjoining buildings. The fire originated between the first floor aad basement, under Mm mala stairway, aad was discovered by Mm policeman at that poet. Besides Mm theater, the building contained two small ho els, kept by Hart man end Losal, aad situated on otthor side of Mm mala entrance to Mm theater. There were forty guests la Hartman's hotel and a smaller aember ia Local's, all of whom escaped without difficulty. There was no one la Mm theater at the time, Mm performance baring closed at 10:45. nor were there any remaining at Mm Thalia Theater, sftaated directly opposite the Windsor, on Mm Bowery. The whole Fire Depurtment of Mm district was summoned by a general alarm, hut the efforts of the arsmia were greatly Impeded by Mm peculiar structure of Mm building and by the el orated railroad structure, which psesed la front of Mm theater.
