Mr. Joseph Armstrong, Auditor of Spencer county, and a wheelhorse of the Democracy in that county, is in Jasper this week examining for Mr. Spurleck the condition of the Treasurer's office, during the time of his incumbency, to see If the alleged deficit against him is correct, and if so, how it came, Mr. Armstrong represents the Hancock boom as booming in Spencer, and receiving accessions from Republican who woaldbe saved, daily.
