Mwmumm of mhIk, one tupooitful of cream-tartar, nutmeg. Mix vary sou, ana sprinkle sugar orer before baking. Fruit Caka : One cupful of butter, one cupful of ugar, four eggs, one and one-half cupful of molasses, one cupful of sour cream, five cupful of flour, two pouHtU of fruit, OHeteRsjtoonfulof soda; spiec to taste. This is sufficient for two large loaves. Tapioca Pudding : For a family of eight or ten persons one-half coffeecup of tapioca put in a pint of milk to soak, and Kent warm until it become soft; then add four eggs and two cups of sugar, butter the size of a butternut, and one teaspoonf ul of salt ; when well beaten add two quart of milk, and flavor with vanilla or letuou ; bake the same as a custard. Apple Batter Pudding: One cupful of sour milk or buttermilk, one cupful of sour ereani.one teaspoonful of soda, two well-beaten eggs, a pinch of .alt, flour to rentier it as thick as it will drop from the spoon.and two cu pf ids or h little more of raw sour apples cut in small pieces. lUlri a little less than an hour itt one lone tin and one round one. Serve with One can omit the apples if preferable.
