A Dakk Cloud. On last Saturday 'the morning train brought the colored base ball club of liockport to Jasper, accompanied by quite a number of their colored friends and admirers. An O wensboro club, we are told, was expected, hut failed to put in an appearance. Tho day was hot and the cloud was welcomed at portending a shower. Some of our
athletic men, who were not afraid of
netting or smells, concluded it wouldn't do to hare a base ball clubcome this far and not Iwve a game, even if they were dark skinned, and so hastily called for volunteers to play them, and as soon as obtained the grounds were laid off, and at it they mat. Two Innings were played, resulting in a tie, and the prospect for vain increasing, Cemiwotor A. Uranism, who had the colored party in charge, didn't want them to get wet, while heated, and called them off to start for home. They were escorted to the depot by their opponents, and as the
