You imiy look nut, this territory will come out ot.tlio kinks now, if she hail a Governor to keep her straight. Wo think there should ho one elected, as the Governor of Salt Lake territory is about to declare war against this territory. He iji very wrothy. because somebody said that he wanted to marry ; ho says that is a d d lie! and he can whip big, little, old or young that says ho wants to marry ! Ho now issues hi pro a n-itimi to the people of his territory uud declares that he will not have such rcoorts. and says : I, uovernor of Salt Lake territory want you lo come at my calling. I now call for the two hundred and two-lc-twoth rejfimeni of Salt Lake, and the forty-eleventh battcrv. with fourteen pop-pruns, to proceed to the Inchest hill next to Ihmkerhill, and be ready for the next order of the Governor. Given under my hand and official seal at the city of Salt Lake, on the 5th day of Jucember, in tho yo&r eleven thousaud eight hundred and fortv-eleventh. The people of this territory are somewhat astonished at tho news of Lausfordi having ran away: he left last Tuedav, the 19th of November. 1878, and W. P. has been hunting him. If he has emi grated west, we can't give any account of what made him leave. Some people don't regard tho laws very much. They go to church ami disturb the conirreiration bv talking or laughing. Let them consider the penalty of the law. We were annoyed last Sabbath by the yells and screams of a htu.ter and his dog. They made more noise then ton men and twenty dojt would ou a week day, after a fox. What is the use of bavin? a law it wo don't enforce it? If they don't know the law in regard tu Sabbath breaking, they had better read a little for information. J. II. Sx.vt. November 2fSth, 1878. 1ST OF LETTERS.
