Last winter a year ago Mr. Bobiusou was stopped on his way home from Fort Uranch, by highwaj men, who demanded his money, but lie escaped by his hore taking fright and running. Again last winter an attempt was made to break into house, which proved abortive. When attacked about two years ago. the thieves lired at him, and the ball penetrated a packige of $5,000, which he carried iu his left brest coat pocket, and passed one half'wav through the package.
