Minerai. Railway. We sec by posters distributed around town (hat there is to be a meeting in thc interests of this project at thc Court House to-morrow night. Our citizens should give this enterprise all the encouragement in their

power, as it is one which, when completed, w ill repay them more than ten fold on their investment, and give us a railroad crossing nt this place, which, in connection with thc Cincinnati and South Western road and Sanduky & Evanartlk road, will make this quite a railroad center. P., for the Corporation, on Saturday last was brought one James Vincicnt,charged with making disturbance of thc peace of the town, by knocking down a drunk ni man. He plead guilty, and loaned the Justice 3,50 to pay for his fun, which be considered cheap, as the Marshal "threw off" a portion of his fees. The same day Mr. A. Berry plead guilty to disturbing thc peace by being drunk and noisy, and it required $5,50

to liquidate his debt, the Marshal not throwing oil any in his case, and in default of payment he was sent to Ilerbig's hotel for a few hours, until it was secured by friends. On Monday morning, Mr. (i. J. Jutt, County Recorder, was required to advance $5.50 to appease the dignity of the
