We are sorry to learn that Dr. H. M. Welman met with a severe accident this afternoon. We learn M'ftt a preacher who hails from near Terre Haute, and who goes by the name of Stewart there, but gave his name as Williams in Pike county, was yesterday arrested near Petersburg, jnst after finishing a 6crmon, on a charge of horse stealing, lie was recognized for trial at court, and is now in tho Petersburg jail.
