Dus notice has been given to the effect that there will be two balloon ascensions at the Fair next week. The monster balloon, W. 8. Lingle, which is fourteen times the size of Prof. Donaldson’s will be inflated on the Fair Ground and make two ascensions—one on Wednesday afternoon and the other on Friday afternoon. That Prof. G. W. Chaffee, of Cincinnati, Ohio, will give one of his wonderful tight rope or wira performances each day of the Fair after the firsts That a match game of base ball played on Thursday, the 16th, for a purse of $lO, offered by private parti—, to be paid winning club. Open to the State. Also/ on Thursday, a foot race will „be run for a purse of $5, offered by private parties. No extra charges will be mode for witnessing th— e exhibitions. Fair commences next Tuesday, the 14th instant, end will close on Saturday the 18lh. Single tickets, 25 cents ; youths under twelve years old, 15 cents; children under eight years old, free; single or doubhl. teams, 15 cents; single horse led . w- u nder saddle 10 cents.
