His sudden departure brings vividly to us the consciousness that life is very uncertain, and admonishes us to be constantly prepared for that change which is inevitable. And, Whereas, God, the Almighty Ruler of the universal world, in his infinite wisdom has removed from our midst our brother, who, while in life, was vigilant, ever cherishing the noble precepts inculcated by our beloved Order, therefore, Resolved, That while we humbly submit to the decrees of the Grand Master, as Odd Fellows our hearts are deeply'sajdenei by the death of our beloved brother.
