Splish, splash, it’s a JCC bash!

By SHOSHANA HARPER It's that time of year again - time for the fun-packed annual JCC Auction. On Saturday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. you can join hundreds of other auction-goers for a delicious meal, silent and live auctions, music by Ray D. & The Music Committee, and dessert. Over 600 auction items will include a trip for two to the practice round of the 2004 Masters Golf Tournament, a private gourmet dinner for 10 at Broadmoor Country Club, a Nordic Trac recumbent bike.

The JCC is hosting "Evening of Giving" at The Fashion Mall on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 5-9 p.m. This is a private shopping experience, since the mall is closed to the public. Funds raised will benefit local charities and non-profit organizations like the JCC. Tickets cost $8 each. For every ticket sold at the JCC,I the JCC will receive $6 and the Simon Youth Foundation will receive $2.
