GOALS: To promote awareness, appreciation and observance of Judaism. HISTORY: Founded in 1981, Lubavitch created many activities and programs to further Yiddishkeit. In 1985, Lubavitch moved into its own home. In 1988, Lubavitch purchased a facility on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington to serve as a Jewish student cen-
ter. In 1995 a new center was opened in Munster to serve the Northwest Indiana Jewish community. The Munster Chabad moved into its own home in 2000. The Bloomington Center is under the leadership of Rabbi Yehoshua and Zlata Chincholker, while Rabbi Aryeh and Tamara Dudovitz head the Munster Center. Rabbi Mendel Schusterman heads
the Gan Israel Day Camp and is adult education director in Indianapolis. HISTORY: The Indianapolis section was established Jan. 11, 1896. NCJW has always been on the cutting edge of bringing new projects to the city that benefit the community at large. Examples of innovative programs established in Indianapolis under NCJW lead-
