GOALS: To provide an online Jewish community for Indianapolis. The website and email discussion list are a great place to meet and discuss the news with other members. We encourage people to attend local events and classes by publishing a free calendar and community directory online. Local organizations are encouraged to post information about their events and classes. There is no cost to promote events. If we help to

bring only one Jewish person closer to Judaism, then we have succeeded. HISTORY: The online community began in November 2000. The popularity of the website and list has increased over time. LOCAL SERVICES: • Learn about events and classes • International Jewish and Israel Newsfeed updated from 1,500 sources every 15 minutes

• Discuss topics with other members of the local Jewish community in an online forum • Free place for local organizations to promote events and classes HOW TO JOIN: Go to www.jewishindy.com, and sign up at the site as a member in order to post messages on the website. Send an e-mail to jewishindy-subscribe@yahoo groups.com to join the e-mail discussion.
