Continued from page 3 out of 30 classmates. Many of the men left the Air Force shortly after their initial assignments ended. Myself and two others are retired from careers in the Air Force. I had totally forgotten about OTS, but my memory was refreshed as I started to scan the faces of the photo Stan had sent me. 1 was also pleased to receive a photo of Stan, myself, and another Jewish cadet taken on our way to Friday night services at Lackland Air Force base. "What a nice surprise after all these years." Service pampers seniors 1 recently learned that a young woman named Michelle Bunker is travelling to senior living communities to provide a convenient, inexpensive, and therapeutic service called "Silver Lining." Ten years ago, Michelle received her State of Indiana license and OSHA certification to become a manicurist. She has been catering to the health needs and concerns of mature adults ever since. Michelle offers mini-pedicures, full

pedicures, manicures, and basic foot/hand massage at MomingSide of College Park and hopes to come to Park Regency and Hooverwood in the near future. "Healthier nails are more comfortable for one's feet and provide ease of walking," said Michelle. "Massage increases circulation, and basic foot care can help those with flexibility problems." In addition, seniors with mobility issues appreciate that Michelle can detect minor foot problems so a doctor can be notified before the problem becomes critical. A manicure takes 45 minutes and costs $25. A basic pedicure costs $25 and takes 30 minutes to soak the feet, cut and file the toenails. A full pedicure costs $40 and includes the above plus removing dead skin. Michelle also offers a 15-minute hand or foot massage to get the circulation flowing for only $15. Consider this service as a New Years' present for yourself, or purchase a session as a gift for a loved one. Leave a message on Michelle's

telephone answering machine (317-823-0205). She will call you back to schedule an appointment. Holiday stamp insults many The United States Postal Service is honoring the EID Muslim holiday season with a commemorative first class holiday

postage stamp. Opponents strongly urge you to adamantly and vocally boycott this stamp when purchasing your holiday stamps at the post office. To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those Americans who died at the hands of those whom this stamp is honoring. If you have any doubt about why you shouldn't buy this stamp, just remember the Muslim bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, the Muslim bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993, the Muslim bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon, the Muslim bombing of the military barracks in Saudi Arabia, the Muslim bombing of the American embassies in Africa, the Muslim bombing of the USS Cole, the Muslim attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, and the Muslim bombing of a Kenyan hotel. The Post & Opinion extends heartfelt thanks to Rona for her outstanding news coverage in Indiana. We will miss her, and we wish her all the best in Nezv York.
