meeting on the ethereal subject of angels at the home of member Katherine Soskin. Rabbi Lew Weiss and Katherine will lead a discussion on how important angels have been in all religions, especially in Judaism, and how angels have shaped history. Come learn the truth about Gabriel, Michael, and Sataan. Learn the answers to these questions: Are there really angels on the head of a pin? Is it true that there is an angel next to each blade of grass urging it to grow? Do we really have guardian angels? Or are these all myths? Participants will be treated to angel meditation and angel

For children in kindergarten through 5th grade, the JCC is offering full days (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) of breakfast, games, swimming, lunch, movies, field trips, and snacks through January 3. For children ages 4 to 9, Chabad's Camp Gan Israel program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and offers swimming, outdoor/indoor sports, fun activities, arts and crafts, field trips, hot lunches, and snacks through January 1. Golden Age Club On Tuesday, Dec. 24, 11:30 a.m., the JCC's Golden Age Club will be hosting its ongoing Tuesday program, featuring an exercise class from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a sumptuous kosher lunch of borscht, gefilte fish, salad, blintzes, sherbert, coffee, tea, and milk.

Singles party On Tuesday, Dec. 24, 8 p.m., Jewish singles are invited to The Matzah Ball - an Indy tradition and the biggest party of the year in an island atmosphere at Bahama Breeze, 3815 East 96 th Street. There will be dancing to the DJ, cocktails at the cash bar, appetizers, desserts, and good company. The cost is $20 per person for JCC members and $25 for non-members.
