In addition, Linda Tingle is the first dignitary to voluntarily become a life

Maze! tov! to Enid Arey On Friday night, Nov. 29, several 1HC members participated in a special, personalized naming ceremony officiated by Ratbi Lew Weiss. Mrs. Enid Arey, rabbi's secretary for three years, received the Hebrew name Ester Ghana bat Adena v'Aryeh. Enid's granddaughter, Elaina Aryl Arey, chose her own name with the help of Rabbi Weiss. The poignant
English translation is "G-d created an angel," which in Hebrew sounds equally wonderful - Arella Asela bat Ester Ghana v'Kailil. Enid commented on how comfortable she felt on the bimah. "1 wasn't nervous at all," she said. "I felt so at home. I like Rabbi Weiss' presentation. He is so warm and speaks to you like he's known you for years. He is a hands-on rabbi. A real mensch." What made this experience even more significant for Enid was that it was her birthday "This was a nice, heart-felt moment for me that 1 will remember for years to come," she said.
