Arafat’s Trojan Horse

By ARLENE PECK Once upon a time there was a very old epic poem which was written by Homer. It depicted the war between Sparta and Athens. The best

known portion in this classic was the vivid description of the Trojan horse. The concept of trickery and naivete culminated with the expression of "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts." Personally folks, I believe that Israel has its very own Trojan Horse. Unfortunately, it is one of its own making created by Peres and his "vision" Oh yes, let's not forget Yitzhak Rabin and the Labor Party policies. Israel's horse now is infiltrating daily in the form of 70,000 Palestinian 'workers' who enter the country under the guise of 'employment' Israel has given the Palestinians autonomy and sanctuary and now have a number fast approaching 50,000 Palestinian policeman. A number which even exceeds the total active infantry of the Israel Defense Force. The Palestinian "Horse" however is permitted and equipped with tens of thousands of rifles, machine guns, and, a multitude of armored vehicles. Who would have ever thought that a Terrorist Authority Army would have been welcomed into the very heartland of Eretz Yisrael? The new policies which have been implemented by Rabin, Peres and the Labor Party have been catastrophic to the civilian life and civilian morale. Each time, they have opened the Israeli prisons to release the thousands of terrorists who have been previously caught in yet more efforts of appease. Releases which ultimately end in another round of vicious bombings of innocent Jewish children. The lunacy of entrusting Israel's defense to an organization who has yet to change their covenant which calls for the destruction of the Jewish State is naivete at it's worst. I

don't know whether these destructive practices by the present Israeli leadership are from political opportunism, or just ignorance and lack of understanding. Whatever, it has got to cease! Israel has been trying to sub contract it's defense and it has proven wrong. Israel must go back to the strong defense that the previous government led. That, the Arabs understand. And, with power, there is no terrorism. Whatever it takes to overpower Hamas, and the rest of the terrorist animals must and should be done. As best I can see is that this 'peace process' has brought more deaths and horror than any of Arafat's previous

When the illustrious Palestinian Arafat speaks to his Arab audience he calls for Holy Jihad and his march to the Palestine state whose capital is Jerusalem. He tells the American officials and their press that he is waging a war against Hamas. Yet, after the latest, bombings he warned Hamas leaders to get out of the country before they could be arrested. The Palestinian police did however quickly arrest one of the major terrorist and put him in jail to avoid having him extradited to Israel.

It's obvious because the wave of civilian terrorism attributed to his brothers is interrupting the handover of the rest of the territory and of course, his power. He's had a good thing and doesn't' want to see it ruined. What other government would give him his wish list AND a dowry, without any consequences? Let there be no mistake, the dowry is large and growing every day. The Oslo map is growing daily and in addition to vital and strategic land we are giving the Palestinians for their state with Jerusalem as the capital, the agreement has given them a full-fledged constitutional structure of a state. Israel has

refrained from building in its own country and extended the rights of the Arabs to build facilities for tourism fishing, sports, wharves and hotels. Israelis may be stopped by the Terrorist Authority "Police" and Israeli pedestrians will soon be required to produce identity documentation in all yellow areas. The terrorist authority has been given full aviation facilities complete with helicopters for VIPs transportation, airplanes and construction of appropriate airstrips and heli-pads. More? Under Oslo C the IDF is to retreat and position it's forces only to specified military locations. Voting? Their voting took place within the capital of Israel. The ballot boxes were placed in post offices and within sovereign Jerusalem. The newfound Arab friends have also been issued electoral registration cards inside sovereign Jerusalem. Also, there are elected representatives of Jerusalem in the Palestinian council. Israel has already transferred equipment registers, files computer programs, reports archives, records, maps, scientific data, installations, and land registrations. Oh, yes, and all the movable and immovable property necessary for its functioning. I've written columns about the lunacy of the present government giving up plose to twenty sacred holy places belonging to the Jews. However, in addition, all Jewish religious and archeological sites are to be subject to the control of the Terrorist Authority. This in addition to the archaeological records, including a list of all excavated sites and a detailed list and description of archaeological artifacts found since 1967.1 think I'm getting a headache. I haven't even begun to list how the mechanism of enabling Arab labor to work in Israel and the Jewish settle-

ments was transferred to the Terrorist Authority. What are they even being allowed into the country to wreck their havoc anyway? Nor, how all forest, nature reserves, and national parks come under the Palestinian Authority. Nor, have I mentioned how the transfer of all lines, cables transformers, substations, metering equipment for al different voltages and the un limited rights to build sta tions, transmission lines etc etc.. has now gone to the disciples of Arafat. Did I mention that the hundred of millions of dollars of road network that Israel has invested along with the water, electrical, telephone and sewage systems now go to the Arabs? It won't matter that Israel won't be able to build any new roads as they have given up their sovereignty over the land anyway. Israel is giving away the farm. Why worry about the bombings anyway? The butchers have been given amnesty for terror and murder by the leaders of Israel in their anxiety for this illusive peace. So, I'll continue to read biased articles in the LA Times about the poor plight of the Palestinian who have been mistreated by Israel for missing a week of work in Israel. And, I'll wonder where the emergency sessions of the United Nations are when it's only a Jewish death. We've brought a people who recently couldn't even pay their light bill in Tunisia to a force who are bringing down the very fiber for which Israel stands. I wonder, will they be able to stop before Arafat demands that all those living in Israel be ordered to wear a yellow armband with a Jewish star on it?
