Krauss helps heart fund
NEW YORK — The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations hailed the "overwhelming endorsement" by 93 senators of a letter calling for the US. to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over a united Jerusalem by moving the American embassy to the Israeli capital and urged its speedy implementation as formal US. policy. New York Sens. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D) and
Alfonse M. D'Amato (R) initiated the letter sent to Secretary of State Christopher. It calls for the relocation of the embassy "no later than the agreements of 'permanent status' take effect... wh ich, accord in g to the Declaration of Principles, is scheduled for May 1999." National Football League veteran Barry Krauss, will be the keynote speaker for the American Heart Association's "All-Star Sports Breakfast" on Tuesday, April 18. The breakfast will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis, 7 to 9 am., with proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association. An all-star athlete will be seated at each table during the breakfast and introduced by Masters of Ceremony Bob Lamey from WIBC and Clyde Lee from WRTV 6. The All-Star Sports Break-
fast combines fundraising with education and a chance to rub elbows with renowned athletes from ail walks of sports including professional football, basketball, tennis, hockey and several amateur athletics. There will be a health fair prior to a hearthealthy breakfast, a silent auction and an autograph and photograph session. Krauss played for Paul "Bear" Bryant at the University of Alabama, was named Most Valuable Player of the 1976 Liberty Bowl and 1979
Sugar Bowl, and was the Baltimore Colts number one d raft pick in 1979. He retired from the Miami Dolphins in 1991 and now resides in Indianapolis where he is an analyst for the Colts Broadcast and a corporate sales trainer for Sandler Sales Institute.
