SHOWER IN THE SUN: Around the swimming pool on the patio of Ruth and Morton Rolsky’s home, Carol Gopman and Dr. Andrea Rolsky, both from Chicago, gave a shower to fete the Rolsky's future daughter-in-law, Deborah Weiner. The elegant luncheon guests included Elaine Arffa, Marion Aronstam, Lil Delott, Molly Regenstreif and others. Wedding will be in October.
EMBRACED: Frances Goodman was truly surprised on her 75th birthday. Unbeknown to her, her three sons prepared a birthday brunch for her at Broadmoor Sunday, Aug. 14. As she said, they all visit her regularly, but they do not visit at the same time. This Sunday morning however, all her sons and her six grandchildren were around her wishing her a happy birthday. Daniel Goodman came from Knoxville and David Goodman with wife, Joan, and children, Joshua, Michelle and Michael came from Bloomington. Dr. Mason Goodman and wife, Rene, also brought their three youngsters: Jessica, Ryan and Eric. Ida Silver and Deena Lewis were among the well-wishers and friends. *** IN THE SPOTLIGHT: For the upcoming Israel Bond dinner the keynote speaker will be Meir Rozenne, the new Israeli Ambassador to the United States. Dr. Jay Hollander Takes Kathryn Kritikos To Wife
Kathryn Kritikos, daughter of Mrs. Mike Kritikos of Merrillville and Indianapolis, became the bride of Dr. Jay Hollander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hollander. He is the grandson of Mrs. David Hollander and Mrs. Joseph Sandler. The ceremony and reception took place at the Indianapolis Athletic Club on Aug. 7. Matron of honor was the sister of the bride, Mrs. David A. Kirchoff. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Lawrence Lazarus, the sister of the groom; Ms. Connie Kirchoff and Mrs. Julie
Kirchoff, nieces of the bride. Dr. Lawrence Lazarus, brother-in-law of the groom, of Chicago, was best man. Ushers were Dr. David A. Kirchoff, Dr. Allan Gillespie and Mr. Sandy Burns. The bride graduated from Indiana University, majoring in French. Dr. Hollander graduated from the University of Colorado and the School of Dentistry at Indiana University. The wedding trip was to Mexico, and the couple are residing here.
