27 to 30. A graduate of Cherry Creek High School, Englewood, Co., she is taking a year off before matriculating at Northwestern University next fall.

Kosher is kosher, but Tzedekah is Jewish. So when The Indiana Division of the American Cancer Society sent me a copy of their new cookbook, I decided to review it even though a great many of the recipes are not | kosher. “A Taste Of Indiana, Our Hoosier Heritage" I is a collection of over 300 recipes from all over Indiana featuring some special recipes from notable Hoosiers such as Mrs. Robert Orr, Mrs. Richard Lugar, Mrs. John Mutz, and [ even Ken Kercheval of “Dallas” fame. While there are many recipes which do include tref, these can easily be converted Einhorn through simple substitutions. The creative cook can replace tref with either beef or chicken and produce a most tempting dish. A special feature of this new cookbook is a Mexican section to keep the reader current on this new trend in ethnic eating. But the best thing about “A Taste Of Indiana" is that the proceeds from the book go to benefit the work of the American Cancer Society. Copies of the book may be obtained by calling 257-7121.

2 lbs. ground beef 2 T. tender quick salt Vz t. hickory salt V 4 1. garlic salt V« t. onion salt 1 cup water Combine all ingredients; mix well and shape into 3 firm rolls. Rabbi A. Grossbaum To Speak In T. Haute TERRE HAUTE - Rabbi Abraham Grossbaum, who heads the Lubavitch Movement in Indianapolis, will speak to two groups this Sunday. He will address the Junior High class of the Religious School in the morning, with parents invited to attend. That afternoon at 2 o’clock he will speak to the Adult Discussion Group at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Werner Loewenstein.
