The marvelous musical fantasy “Finian’s Rainbow” will ^pen the Jewish Community Center’s Family Film Series on Wednesday evening 8:30 p.m. There are three other films scheduled on the series: Jerry Lewis in “The Big Mouth” on June 28; Laurel and Hardy in *‘Our Relations” and “The Golden Age of Comedy” on July

26th. The films are geared to attract the entire family, and are free to Center members. Weather permitting, they will be held outdoors. “Finian’s Rainbow” with Fred Astaire in technicolor, remains a magical, appealing, tuneful, and often funny masterpiece, having delighted Broadway many years ago.

Open House Set At Hebrew Academy Tuesday, June 13 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. the final Open House of the 1971-72 school year will be held on the school premises at 6510 Hoover Road. The Hebrew Academy is a progressive school for the Jewish child devoted to individualized instruction in secular studies and a total environment of Jewish culture and tradition in the religious studies department. On display will be samples of children’s creative and artistic work throughout the year, audio-visual equipment, texts and curriculum materials that are an integral part of the Academy’s open classroom. Prospective parents, their children, and members of the community will have the opportunity to meet the fully-state-licensed staff and the school’s director. Parents of presently enrolled students will he on hand to answer questions about the school’s progress and impact in the community. The Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis is now accepting applications for enrollment in 197273. Children who will be five by December 31, 1972 are eligible for the kindergarten. Children six by December 31, 1872 are eligible for the first grade. In 1972-73, the Academy will have an intermediate as well as primary unit. Students with no previous Hebrew background in a Jewish Day School are accommodated through the individualized and non-graded approach of the Hebrew Studies Department. The Open House is sponsored by the Women’s Auxiliary of the Hebrew Academy and the Board of Directors of the Hebrew Academy of Indianapolis, Inc. All members of the community are welcome to attend this Tuesday evening’s Open House. _
