The annual meeting of the Jewish Community Center set for Aug. 8 will feature an address by Julius Dorfman, Executive Director of the Center. He will present his views on the current status and future direction of the JCCA. The meeting will take place at 8 p.m. in the Center’s Theater-In-The-Woods. A highlight of the evening will be the preview of a scene from the Theat.er-In-The-Woods forthcoming production, “The Playroom.” Also included in the program will be a pictorial presentation of Center activities during the past year. Milton Bohard will provide the taped narration for the presentation. The annual meeting will also

Goodman, the report of the nominating committee by Irwin Katz, chairman and election of members to the Board of Directors for a three year term, 1968-1971. Dorfman, a native of New York City, has completed his first year as Executive Director of the Indianapolis JCCA. Prior to arriving in Indianapolis, Dorfman served as Executive Director of the Poughkeepsie, N.Y. JCCA and the Poughkeepsie Jewish Welfare Fund for 14 years. He has , c erved as Director of the Jewish Center of Camden County, N.J. and on the staffs of the Williamsburgh Y M H A , the Yonkers JCCA, the East New York YMHA and the Central Jewish Institute. Dorfman has also been active in professional organizations and activities. Currently, lie is vice-president of the East Central Chapter of the National Association of Jewish Center Workers and is a member of tlie Indianapolis Social Workers Club, the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Political Science of Columbia University ana B'luii B’rith I>odge No. 58.

Unifed Orthodox Auxiliary To Meet A regular meeting of tlie United Orthodox Hebrew Indies Auxiliary is set for 1 p.m. Aug. 7 at the United Orthodox Hebrew Synagogue. A musical program will be given and the vocalist will be Mrs. Meyer Satinsky, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Sidney Goldstein. Refreshments will also be served by the Auxiliary.
