JCRC, Center Plan Joint Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Coiuicil will be observed jointly this year with the Jewish Welfare Federation and the Jewish Community Center Association. Hie meeting will take place Sunday, June 25 at Broadmoor Country Club. Nominated to serve on the JCRC Board of Directors for three-year terms are Sam Chernin, Joseph H. Greenberg, Ernest Heppner. David H. Kleiman.

Birth Announced Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lee Peril are parents of a son, Erick Leon, born May 15 at the William H.. Coleman Hospital. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dave H. Glazier 2902 North Delaware Street and paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peril, 1912 West 79th Street. Great-grandmother is Mrs. Ida Laepsky, 2902 North Delaware Street.

Howard Leventhal To Be Bar Mitzvah Howard B. Leventhal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Leventhal, 8333 North Pennsylvania Street, will be bar mitzvah in ceremonies June 24 at Beth-El Zedeck. I.U. Junior Wins National Merit Award

Membership Tea Scheduled By B'nai B'rith Unit The 1967-68 membership tea of Chapter 324, B’nai B’rith Women, will begin by taking a walk down a plush red carpet which will lead guests in to the home of Mrs. Edward Gabovitch, 595 Holiday Lane, for a champagne hour. It will be held on Wednesday, June 21 at 1:30 P.M. Mrs. Alan Blattner is chairman of the day and her committee members are: Mesdames Edward Krulewitch, Aaron Cohen, Richard Branson, Sidney Davis, Sheldon Blazer, Harry Bloom, Jules Chatoff, Larry Greenwald, and Richard Winston, An original musical will be presented to the guests of B’nai B’rith Women. Miss Fogelman Engagement' Told The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Miriam Fogelman, daughter of Mrs. Joseph Fogelman and the late Joseph Fogelman of Hammond, Ind. is announced to Joel M. Selig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Selig of Indianapolis. Miss Fogelman is a graduate of Indiana University and is teaching school in Monster, Ind. Joel Selig attended Parsons College and Indiana University and is affiliated with Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. The wedding will be held in Chicago on Aug. 26.

Ronald Barry Perelman, a junior at the Indiana University Medical School in Indianapolis was named winner of a $250 National Foundation Merit Award for a paper on drugs which may cause birth defects. Presentation of the award was made June 8, at the National Foundation - March of Dimes Marion County Chapter annual meeting of the offices of the Buehler Corooration. The Merit Award is made possible by public contributions to the March of Dimes campaign in Marion County. Perelman is a native of Cleveland, the son of Sanford Perelman, a pharmacist. Ronald B. B.
