Council To Honor Volunteer Workers
Those women who have participated in the many volunteer services of the Indianapolis Section, National Council of Jewish Women will be honored at the April meeting of the organization. A box lunch wil highlight the April 3 event which will be held at noon in the home of Mrs. Joseph Rothbard, 7808 North Pennsylvania. Members have been asked to decorate their lunch according to their favorite volunteer service. Dessert and beverage will be provided. Mrs. Earl Peachin and Mrs. David Granowsky will be honored for each giving 100 hours or more in volunteer service. The volunteer services provided by the Indianapolis Section include programs at the Borinstein Home for the Aged, the Central State Arm Chair Travel Group, the Golden Age Club, Hoosier Helpter, LaRue Carter Remotivation Program, Service to Foreign Born, W'omen in Community Service, and Pre-School Volunteers.

B'nai B'rith Women To Install Officers Mrs. Leo Glanzman will be installed president of the Indianapolis chapter of B'nai B’rith women, Chapter 324, in ceremonies April 11 on the Indiana Central College Campus, 4400 Hanna Ave-

The installation will begin with lunch at 12:15 p.m. in Schwitzer Hall. Brodsky Memorials Monuments to the memory of Charles and Pauline Brodsky will be held at 2 p.m. April 9 in Indianapolis Hebrew Cemetery North. Rabbi Maurice Davis will officiate. Friends and relatives are invited.
Dr. Winold To Speak At Seminar Event • Dr. Allen Winold will be the leader at the Jewish Community Center’s Symphony Seminar, 6701 Hoover Road on Thursday, April 6 at 8 p.m. He will present a brief discussion of the historical background and analysis of Cello Concerto No. 2, Op. 125 by Prokofiev. This number will be performed at the Symphony Concert by Zara Nelsova. Dr. Winold received his bachelor and masters degrees of Music with distinction at the University of Cincinnati and his Ph.D. in Music Theory from Indiana University School of Music. He has participated in Symphony Orchestras in North Carolina, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. Since 1956 he has been part of the faculty at the Indiana School of Music and is presently assistant to the Dean and Assistant Professor of Music. Hostess for the evening will be Mrs. Robert Solow. Ha'lma Hadassah Gourmet Dinner Set For April 16 Colorful blue and green topiary trees will be used as table centerpieces for the annual Gourmet Dinner April 15 of the HaTma Group of the Indianapolis Chapter of Hadassah. Senator Birch Bayh will be guest speaker at the 6:30 p.m. event in the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation. To carry out the gourmet’s theme of “A Captain’s Dinner,” the main table will feature a boat in an ocean of angel hair as centerpiece.
