Miss Diane Louise Krassner, Edward M. Berlin Are Wed
Temple Beth - El Zedeck was the scene Monday, June 4, of- the wedding of Miss Diane Louise Krassner and Edward Meyer Berlin. Rabbi Sidney Steiman performed the double-ring ceremony. PARENTS of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Theodore W. Krassner, 7516 Grandview Drive and Mr. and Mrs. Simon Berlin of White Plains, N. Y. The bride was gowned in ballerina - length chiffon edged with satin. The dress featured a square neckline. Empire waist and short boufant sleeves. Her veil was attached to a pearl and crystal princess crown and she carried a white orchid on her mother’s white Bible.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University at Bloomington. Mrs. Berlin attended the Katherine Gibbs School of New York. The couple will live at White Plains on their return from their honeymoon in the P o c o n o Mountains of Pennsylvania.
Norman Lee Fogle To Be Bar Mitzva Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Fogle announce the Bar Mitzva of their son Norman Lee Friday evening June 15 and Saturday morning June 16 at Beth-El. Norman is the grandson of Mrs Morris Weinberg of Cincinnati.
Mrs. Robert L. Benwitt of Mount Vernon, N. »Y., was her sister’s matron of honor and Miss Ellen M. Krassner, maid of honor. Chiffon dresses in mauve and yellow were worn by the matron and maid of honor, respectively. Their headpieces were floral and they carried carnation bouquets. A RECEPTION following the ceremony was held in the Krassner home.
B'nai Torah Honored For Quality Service % Rabbi Nandor Fruchter; Sam Dorfman, president; and David Fogle, vice-president of B’nai Torah received a Distinguished Service Award in St. Louis for their congregation, at the convention of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.

Nora J. Talesnick, J. J. Kancelbaum To Marry July 1 Mr. and Mrs. Morris Talesnick, 5210 North New Jersey Street, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Nora Jane Talesnick, and Joshua J. Kancelbaum. He is the son of Charles P. Kancelbaum of Cleveland, and the late Mrs. Kancelbaum. TTie bride-to-be graduated from Indiana University and also attended Western Reserve University. Mr. Kancelbaum graduated from Adelbert College at Cleveland and the School of Law at Western Reserve. The wedding will be July 1 m Beth-El.
Theatre-in-the-Woods To Open Fifth Season Featuring Wouk Play **Nature’« Way,- Herman Wouk’s comedy of a young composer’s struggle with the problems of success, will open the fifth season of Theatre-in theWoods at 8 30 p.m. Wednesday, June 13. Six performances are scheduled at the theatre at 6701 Hoover Road, behind the Jewish Community Center. Cast are Mike Kirsh, Jacquie Kirsh, Shirley Larmaa, Daniel Kasle, Joe Ecktman, Jacquie Stoikin, John Poland, Morris Axelrod, Dean Glasel, Charles Kirov mson Jr., FSlise Leventhal, George H. Maley, Theodore Kline, and Herbert Larin an. Director is Margaret Roberts. Co-producers for the summer season are Bebe Garber and Evelyn Cohen. Stage Manager is Dave Hixon, and Ann Schuchman is In charge of props. Sets have been designed by Ed Gallagher, and set construction director is Maurice Manalan. Performances will be at 8:30 p m. June 13, 16, 17, 20. 23, and 24. Season books or individual tickets are available at the Center, CL 1-9468.
