&saph To Present Tom Kippur Broadcast

The Asaph Organization will present its annual Yom Kippur broadcast at 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25, over station WISH.

Shoolem Ettinger, vice president of the Zionist Organization of America, will narrate the liturgical selections. A recoixled

program of Kol Nidre and other appropriate selections, sung by Cantor Myro Glass and the Beth El Choir with Walter Goldman conducting.

I«ple’s knm\ Fall laics To Be ‘Presidential ii’

The Brotherhood and Sisterhood of the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation are presenting their annual fall dance on Oct. 22. The gala event is entitled the Presidential Ball in keeping with the upcoming election. Planning for the affair, which will be held from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the temple auditorium, have been underway for several months under the direction of Mrs. Toby Blickman and Mrs. Irene Breisacher, representing the Sisterhood, and Philip Pecar and Robert Goldberg for the Brotherhood.

Highlight of the dance will be a colorful musical variety. Un« der rehearsal for several weeks, the show is being directed by Mrs. Shirley Much. Champagne, delicious refreshments, a big-name dance band, beautiful decorations and free baby-sitters all are included in the $25 patrons ticket and $12.50 general admission tickets. A team of more than 50 Broth, erhood and Sisterhood workers now are selling tickets. Reservations are limited to 300 couples.

Cinerama To Make Debut In Indiana

Cinerama will be shown for the first time in Indiana at the Indiana theatre starting Sept. 28. The theatre is presently undergoing remodeling in preparation for an exclusive run of Cinerama pictures. “This is Cinerama” will be the first film introducing the widelyheralded new dimension in entertainment. It is the only film to have won academy awards in two consecutive years. Visitors at Brussels World’s Fair had the oppoi'tunity of seeing the movie. It has been shown in five languages.. Cinerama requires three separate projectors instead of the traditional one. A huge curved

screen and several additional loudspeakers are also part of the theatre set up.
