B'ncai B'rith 2192 Will Hold Meeting Captain S. Auter, chief of the vice squad of the Indianapolis Police department, will be guest speaker at the opening meeting of B’nai B’rith 2192. The meeting will be preceeded by a dinner at the Carbob Drivein, E. 38 st. and Arlington ave. Dinner will be at 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7. The meetnig will start at 8 p.m. Members and guests are invited. Reservations for dinner may be made with the telephone captain or Herb Weinman, CH 10052.

B'nai B^ith Women Plan Oct. Luncheon A ways and means kick-off luncheon was held by B’nai B’rith Women No. 324 on Aug. 30. Oct. 25 was set as the date of the group’s donor luncheon. Mrs. Melvin Lichtenberg announced plans for the ways and means drive.

Flower Guild To Meet Sept. 8 The Temple Sisterhood Flower Guild will hold its opening meeting at 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in the White Cross service centei*, 1701 Boulevard pi. Forthcoming ways and means projects to raise money for Methodist hospital will be discussed. The Temple Sisterhood Flower Guild, an affiliate of the White Cross Guild of Methodist hospital, -is a service organization. The group’s main function is wrapping bandages, dressings, cotton balls, etc. into parcels to be sterilized and used by the Methodist hospital. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month. Any Jewish woman who can donate her time one morning a month

opening and closing prayers will be offered by Mrs. Morris Gei'nstein and Isabel Schwartz. Pi'ogram chairman is Mi's. Irving Jaffe; membership chairmen are Mrs. Edward Fershtman, and Mrs. A1 Samberg. O Beth El Sisterhood Will Open Year The Beth El Zedeck Sisterhood has announced their opening luncheon meeting, to be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12, in the Temple. Chairman of the luncheon is Mrs. Sherman Weinstein. Assisting are Mmes. Joe Koor, Max Shalansky, Aaron Click, Harold (Sophie) Goldberg, David Hollander, Hyman Brosman, Harry Zukerberg and Aaron Unger. In charge of the table setting committee is Mrs. Monroe Marcus. Mrs. Julius Clansman is chairman of the table serving committee; Mrs. Leon Engel heads the telephone committee. The decorations, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Jack Kosene, will have a religious motif, using symbols of the High Holy Days. Mrs. Edward Kaufman is president of the Beth El Sisterhood. o B'nai Torah Sisterhood Sets Luncheon Meeting The opening luncheon meeting of Bnai Torah Sisterhood will be at 12:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12 in the temple vestry. Chairman of the dinner is Mi's. Louis Silverman. Mrs. Meyer Satinsky, cultural chairman, is in charge of the program. O Mizrachi Women to Meet The Mizrachi Women will meet at the home of Mrs. Samuel Davis, 2804 Kessler blvd. E. dr., at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7. Plans will be made for the membership drive. Mrs. Leon Harris will preside.

GOLDEN AGERS HOLD CLOSING MEETING The Golden Age club held its last meeting of the season Tuesday, Aug. 30. The group will resume its program on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Jewish Community Center.
