JCC CUB SCOUTS TO HOLD PICNIC The Jewish Community Centersponsored Cub Scout Pack No. 447 will hold its annual familypicnic 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12. This family affair will be held in the picnic area todhc rear of the Jewish Community Center. All boys who are 8 years of age now or who will be 8 years of age by September 1960 and are considering joining the Cub Scouts are invited with their families. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Membership in the JCCA is not required to join Cub Scout Pack No. 447. In case of rain the picnic will be held the following Sunday, June 19.

Elaine Kroot Engaged To Engineering Student Elaine Rosanne Kroot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kroot, 5831 Washington blvd., was engaged to Mr. Jeffrey Marshall Howard, of Mamaroneck, N, Y. Mr. Howard is attending Ohio State university where he is enrolled in the college of engineering. He is a member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, the varsity soccer team and Alpha Pi Mu, industrial engineering honor society. Miss Kroot will be graduated in December from Ohio State school of education. She is president of Sigma Delta Tau sorority and a member of Alpha Lambda Delta scholastic honorary and Pi Lambda Theta education sororities.
