Besmanoff Beaten By Moore In Tenth Rouund TKO

ponent, who .is currently lightheavyweight champion of the world, the old pro was too much for him. After knocking down Moore in the second round, Besmanoff took such a beating on his face that the referefe stopped the fight in the 10th round. Blood was streaming from Besmanoff’s nose, which was feared broken. Besmanoff, who was born in Berlin, was required to wear a Star of David when the Nazis were in power. After the war, he entered boxing in the alliedsponsoi’ed amateur fights. He finally left Germany to become an American citizen in October, 1958. He has been living in Milwaukee, but may settle in Indianapolis. The outspoken fighter told the POST and OPINION that he did not think the Germans can be forgiven for what they did. However, he sees nothing wrong in Jews remaining in Germany if they want to. He, himself, left Germany because of his hatred for the Germans who were responsible for the war.
