Gala Concert At B'nai Torah
The twelfth anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel will be celebi'ated by Congregation B'nai Torah with a gala concert. Special Israeli and Chazanic music will be presented by the outstanding Chazan, Matus Radzivilover of Beth Jacob Synagogue, Dayton, Ohio. 8 p.m. Chazan Radzivilover is known throughout the country for his outstanding program of traditional and modern Jewish music. He appeared in New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, and Montreal, Canada, and was enthusiastically received by his audiences. The choral group of the Sisterhood of B’nai Torah will participate in the program with Israeli songs. A most enjoyable evening for Jewish music lovers is promised. Knesses Isjrael Auxiliary Holds Meeting The Ladies Auxiliary of the Knesses Israel Congregation, will hold their regular meeting May 2 at the Shule, 1023 S. Meridian, at 1 p.m. Election of officers will take place at this time. Mrs. Sam Horwitz and Mrs. Morris Kaseff will be hostesses. Refreshments will be served. Local JNHAC Chapter Hold Service The Indianapolis Chapter of the Jewish National Home for Asthmatic Children at Denver will sponsor the Friday night services and Aneg Shabot on Friday May 6 at 8:15 p.m. at B’nai Torah Congregation. Rabbi Kahn, Legion Chaplain To Speak At Broadmoor
Rabbi Rubert I. Kahn of Houston, national chaplain of the

The folk singing at 8:30 p.m., Saturday will be led by Ellen Steckert of Indiana University The center’s folk dance club will meet at 8 p.m., Sunday, under the instruction of Leonard Kessler and Griff Crump. A “beatnik” party, marking the fifth get-together of the center’s couples club for newcomers, will be at 8:30 p.m., also Sunday.
American Legion, will address the annual meeting of the Indianapolis chapter of the American Jewish Committee at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Broadmoor country club.
