Dr., Mrs. E. Gabovltch Welcome First Son Dr. and Mrs. Edward Gabovitch, 2707 E. 58, became the parents of a son, David Steven, July 30, in Coleman hospital. They also have a daughter, Ellen Sue, 2. Mrs. Gabovitch is the former Phyllis Stein, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Stein of Cincinnati. The paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrsi Carl Gabovitch of Hammond. All the grandparents visited ilieir new grandson on the occasion of his brit Aug. 6. .

he back . . , Dr. and Mrs. Leo Kammen, Jean and Richard, returned last week from their vacation. The family was in New York City to attend the bar mitzva of a cousin. In addition the Kammens traveled to Colorado where they vacationed for two weeks on a dude ranch. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Strauss, 6141 Ralston dr., returned last week from their vacation in northern Michigan. Philip Poppe returned home after having completed six weeks summer training for the army at Ft. Riley, Kans. In September, Mr. Poppe will renew his studies as senior at Indiana where he is majoring in
business.
His sister, Janice Poppe, is back after spending two weeks at the Versailles hotel in Miami Beach, Fla., with two girl friends, Maureen Garber and Betty Lefkovits. Philip and Janice are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Poppe, 7515 W. Hilliday dr. Mr. and Mrs. Poppe have just returned from their vacation which included vacationing at the Concord hotel in the Catskills, a family wedding in Baltimore, and a trip to New York city.
