Asks Houses of Worship To Back Safe Driving Churches and synagogues were urged this week to point out the moral responsibilities of safe driving during Traffic Safety Sabbath Dec. 5-7. Governor Harold W. Handley, in designating the Sabbath, called on Catholic, Jewish and Protestant leaders to unite their voices and prayers during this three-day period in an intensified effort to reduce highway slaughter.

Now they’re gameroom leaders. Next they'll be assistants in the physical education program. And even higher posi. tions await them.
MILSTEIN TO APPEAR WITH CITY SYMPHONY Nathan Milstein, world-famed violinist, will make his fourth appearance with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Dec. 7-8 in the Murat Theater. Milstein, who wrote a cadenza |^g||g|g»^||B to B r a h m s’ concerto in D minor, will perform the concerto with that cadenza at the two perf o r m ances. The orchestra, under the direction of IzMHsteln ler Solomon, will also perform Beethoven’s overture to “The Creatures of Px*ometheus,“ Schubert’s Symphony No. 2 in B flat major, and Ravel’s Rhapsodic Espagnole. Performances are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 p.m. Monday.
