Fall Wedding To Unite Eileen Satz, Joseph Tuchman Mr. and Mrs. Murray M. Satz, 5302 N. Delaware St., announce the engagement of their daughter, Eileen Faye and Joseph H. Tuchman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Tuchman, 3525 Guilford Ave. The wedding will take place in the fall. The groom-to-be is a graduate of Indiana University, a member of Sigma Alpha Mu and of Phi Delta Epsilon, Medical fraternity and is a Junior at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Mrs. Morris Feuerlicht was in Lafayette for a week’s visit with relatives while Rabbi Feuerlicht was in attendance at the Biennial meeting of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations in New York. Ensign Norman Hofheimer of Norfolk, Va., now stationed with the Navy Air Service at Jacksonville, Fla., flew here to be with his friends, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Marks of Evansville who were at the Columbia Club last Sunday. Fifty dollars for the Red Cross and $25 for the Los Angeles Tuberculosis Sanitarium was realized by the women of the National Service Club of the Workman’s Circle, 175B, from the affair they gave recently in honor of the 45th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Kollinger. Mr. and Mrs. William Weiss of Shelbyville, Tenn., have moved to Indianapolis and are temporarily at the Warren Hotel. Mr. Weiss will be an instructor at the Armament Training Center at Sperry. Mrs. Victor Goldberg returns this week end from a ten day visit with her sisters and her brothers and their families in Atlanta, Ga.
Births Mr. and Mrs. Abe Simpson, 1246 Union St., announce the birth of a son at the Methodist Hospital, Sunday, April 4. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Regenstrief, 3702 N. Illinois St., announce the birth of a son at the William Coleman Hospital Sunday, April 4. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jaeger, 3019 N. New Jersey St., announce the birth of a son at Methodist Hospital, Friday, April 2.
Mrs. Ferdinand Kahn is the guest of her daughter Mrs. Lewis Lurie. Mrs. Louis Naparstek was the honor guest for a baby shower Tuesday, March 28 given by her sister, Shirley Ann Einbinder. Pvt. Louis Naparstek, Med. Div., Camp Grant, 111., was home for the occasion. Mrs. Ida Ruben, Marquette, Mich., spent a few days last week with her son, Irvin Ruben and Mrs. Ruben. Hartland Ruben of Newfoundland flew here to join his mother and his brother and wife for a short visit before reporting to New York, his new station. A regular board meeting of the Sisterhood of the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation will be held at 12 P. M. Monday, April 12 in the vestry of the Temple.
Lotus Glueck Wed On Coast To Miss Beulah Stanfield special GARY—News of the marriage of Mr. Louis GlueCk and Miss Beulah Stanfield was announced by Mr. Glueck’s son, Charles Gleuch, here recently. The ceremony was performed in Los Angeles last week. Mr. Glueck has been vacationing on the coast since last month. The couple are guests in the home of Mr. Glueck’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ettelson of Beverly Hills, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Simon of Gary attended the wedding and plan to remain on the coast for some time. Mr. Glueck came to Gary in 1906 and has been in business here since that time. He has another daughter, Mrs. Adolph Goldstone, who resides in Gary.
Junior Citizens To Give Revue for U.S.O.—The Southside Community Center will present its second annual Junior Citizen Revue in a performance before the USO-JWB Club at 9:00 a. m. Sunday, April 11 in the Kirshbaum auditorium. Mr. John D. Wilson is director of the Revue.

Beatrice Samuel Sets June Date For Wedding To Joe Adelsmann Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig J. Samuel of London, England, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Beatrice Samuel,, 3042 N. Delaware St., to Joe Adelsman, 3042 N. Delaware St., son of Aaron Adelsmann, New York City. The wedding date has been set for Sunday, June 20.
Committees Announced for Show —Jeanette Patnik, chairman of the Jr. Hadassah-Hadassah Debs show, “When Johnny Comes Marching Home,” to be presented May 2, at Kirshbaum Center has announced committees including Libby Kipp, Rhoda Binsky, Clarissa Hollander, Lenora Platt, Ida Belle Platt and Molly Cohen.
Sam S. Brill, of Chicago, foreign trade counsellor, was a visitor in Indianapolis last week. He is the uncle of David Fink. For five years, Mr. Brill was a special agent of the Department of Commerce, on a special mission in Latin America. He has 1 ived in Argentina, Australia, China, Japan, and has encircled the globe five times.
Miss Zelda Cohen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Cohen, is spending her spring vacation with friends at Waukegan, 111. She will also visit her brother David, stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Station.
State Births GARY—Private and Mrs. Jerome Hirshberg announce the birth of a daughter born to them March 26 at the Methodist Hostal. Mrs. Hirshberg is the former Emaline Lakin and is residing with her parents in Gary. FT. WAYNE — Mr. and Mrs. Michael Nash announce the birth of a daughter Sunday, April 4. FT. WAYNE — Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Weinraub announce the birth of a son, Friday, April 2. Mrs. Weinraub is the former Rose Steiber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Steiber. INDIANA HARBOR — Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cohen are the parents of twin boys born at St. Catherine’s Hospital. SOUTH BEND—Mr. and Mrs. Eli Spicer announced the birth of a son March 29. Mrs. Spicer is the former Eleanor Freeman. FT. WAYNE—Mr. and Mrs. Sol Schwartz, Bloomington, Ind., announce the birth of a son. Grandparents are Mr. ^nd Mrs. Abe Schwartz of Fort Wayne.
Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Bodner and son Bobby are in Boston, visiting Mr. Bodner’s relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Satinsky of Dayton, O., will arrive Sunday to take up permanent residence in Indianapolis. Mr. Satinsky will be associated in business with his father and the couple will be at 972 Pleasant Run temporarily.
