on the tenth floor of the Columbia Club. The program as announced by Mrs. David Lurvey, program chairman, will include discussion of timely Sisterhood problems and problems of these critical days. Program Given The opening luncheon will be held at 12:30 on Tuesday, October 10, at the Columbia Club. Mrs. Watters will give the principal address, followed by a question box of practical Sisterhood problems, conducted by three prominent rabbis of the state, and Mrs. Watters. The banquet will be held at 7 p. m , Tuesday*, on the tenth floor of the Columbia Club. The program will be “A Symposium for Better Understanding" and will include addresses by Mrs. Leon Watters, Father Michael Lyon, Dr. Frederick Kershner, and Rabbi Morris M. Feuerlicht. Wednesday morning will open with a breakfast for the presidents of the affiliated Sisterhoods, to be held at the Columbia Club. Sessions will resume for various reports at the Temple of the Indianapolis Hebrew* Congregation, and the highlight of the program will be a summary of the convention by Rabbi Maurice Goldblatt. Music will be furnished by the Sisterhood choir. A luncheon at the Temple and the benediction by Dr. Feuerlicht will conclude the sessions. Mrs. Markun has urged that all Sisterhoods throughout the state avail themselves of the central location of Indianapolis and cooperate by attending this important session in large delegations. The complete program of the convention will be announced later. Committees handling convention details are headed by Mrs. Arthur Fairbanks, president of the Temple Sisterhood, assisted by the following convention chairmen: Mrs. David Lurvey, program; Mrs. Jay Kahn, hospitality; Mrs. I. E. Solomon, music; Mrs. Harold I. Platt, arrangements, assisted by Mrs. Roy Brown; and Mrs. Morris M. Fcuerlicht and Mrs. Maurice Goldblatt, hostesses. Mrs. Sydney Romer, corresponding secretary of the Indiana State Federation, will direct the publicity* and will be assisted by* Mrs. Samuel Hahn. Mrs. Fairbanks stated that it is the duty of members of the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation to help maintain our fine traditions of true Hoosier hospitality and to participate actively in the convention. The evening program has been especially planned to interest the men, and it is urged that they cooperate wholeheartedly with their attendance at the banquet.
