She intimated to her betrothed,, however, that she was deficient in apparel to appear in the part designed for her. What lover ever reJuaed his betrothed a request?— There may be instances of this kind --but, if we ate informed rfght,ly, our hero cannot be classed among the number; for he conceded to her rqqupst, and fdrptahedjbeF ’liberally with the wherewith to adorn the “outer man” With this money she proceeded— -.not to any of our elegant furnishing houses—but to Abe Micigan Central depot, where, by appointment, another lover was awaiting her. The twain left the depot together, but as yet, we learn, no marriage has been’ effected. Mutual .friends are now endeavoring to bring -her back to her first love, and effect "irttfcdftdliatioii and marriage* with prospects of success.
