WERE MARRIED 50 YEARS AGO

Mr. and Mrs. George Shaull of Wolcott Celebrate Golden Wedding. Mr. and Mrs. George Shaull of Wolcott are spending a few days here with their daughter, Mrs. Charles V. May. Mr. and Mrs. Shaull .were married 50 years ago yesterday at the old Austin hotel in Rensselaer, the ceremony having been performed by Rev. Montgomery, a Methodist minister here at that time. Mr. and Mrs. Shaull, with the exception of three years residence in Wabash county, have recided near Remington and Wolcott their entire married life, and are highly respected people. Both are well preserved and bid fair to live many years more to enjoy the fruits of a well earned competency. Mr. and Mrs. May, in honor of the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Shaull, gave a big dinner to them yesterday, and the celebration of the event proper will be held at their home in Wolcott tomorrow, Sunday, at which time all of their four children—Mrs. W. A. Spencer of Wolcott, Will Shaull of Lebanon, Mrs. C. V. May of Rensselaer, and H. A. Shaull of Tulsa, Okla. —will be present, except the latter, who was unable' to come at this time.
