I.—Problems of reconstruction, particularly those relative to currency and exchange, were considered by the international financial conference. America is vitally interested in the financial and economic situation In European countries, the conference was told by Dr. G. Vlssering of the Netherlands bank. He declared that although the United States came out of the war the most powerful nation of the world financially, the situation as It has developed carries with It grave dangers, and that the world Inevitably must pass through an era of trouble, which might encourage the spirit of Bolshevism.
