May There Be Legion* of Americans Who Will Do Likewise. “Governor Lowden has canceled his subscription to The Herald and Examiner. He also has issued orders against bringing The Herald and Examiner into the executive offices of the state mansion,” says a Springfield, 111., dispatch to the disreputable sheet above named. And every red-blooded American should follow Governor Lowden’s example with all the Hearst papers, then they would be confined to that undesirable element for whose presence they are so largely responsible in this country—that is, if they are to be allowed to continue to spread, their propaganda of socialism and bolshevism.
