NOTES FROM COUNTY HOSPITAL

Rafer Whilby, 20-year-old son of W. R. Whilby, residing on the HllUs ranch near Fair Oaks, was brought to the hospital Thursday suffering from pneumonia. He is in a very critical condition. It is said that young Whilby was threshing and got very hot, and when he went to the house he plunged his head into a barrel of cold water. John May of Remington underwent an operation for appendicitis Thursday. Joseph Larsh underwent an operation for hernia Thursday afternoon and is doing nicely. James E. Walter underwent a major operation Wednesday. The condition of Thomas Crockett remains practically unchanged. Harlow Denton is Improving nicely. George Antcliff seems slightly improved. Miss Inez Kiplinger, who underwent a major operation Tuesday, is doing nicely. Mrs. Elmer Brenneman left the hospital Thursday evening. Mrs. Harry Lent of Brook underwent a minor operation yesterday morning.
