W. J. WRIGHT « M — J MOW is the time to buy Rugs for the fall--it may be 1 difficult later on. We are only recommending’ a policy that we have followed ourselves. We. have at this time the largest stock that you will be able to find outside of the cities, due to the fact that we placed our orders last year. Some industries are catching up with the demand, but floor coverings are still far behind. The rug mills and the jobbers all advanced their prices on July first. The large jobbers stocks are very much depleted, in fact they have so few rugs that it is a joke to go in and try to buy anything. Maybe they will offer you a couple of floral patterns, all they have for immediate shipment. We consider ourselves very lucky to have this large stock at this time and to be able to • offer it at the prices that we have been, as a great many of these rugs will cost us as much or more if we try to replace them on today’s market. • • I INCLUDED IN THIS SHOWING ARE Wiltons Axminsters Velvets Tapestry Grass Fiber Matting
9x12 Rugs You always get more for your money in a 9x12 size rug. We have in stock eighty patterns in this size alone. They come in the cheaper grades for th* bedroom and porch to the very finest Wiltons for the parlor and living room. Wilton rugs have been more than scarce, it has been impossible to get anything until the last few weeks we have received six or seven new patterns, rugs that have been ordered for months. In 9x12 Axminster rugs we are in a good deal better shape, showing thirty patterns. Among these are some wonderful seamless, high pile, in rich blue and rose colorings. We are carrying four or five different qualities in velvet rugs that probably represent the best value that we are showing in any of the 9x12 sizes. These velvets come in small all over brown and tan, rose and blue, blue and all rose. / _ Tapestry rugs are mostly shown in brown and tan mixtures with a few blue and rose colored ones for the bedroom. In the cheaper rugs we have matting, grass, fiber and wool fiber. These come in all colors and can be used in practically every room in the house as well as on the porch.

HOOVER ELECTRIC SUCTION SWEEPER IT BEATS.... AS IT SWEEPS AS IT CLEANS PROLONGS LIFE OF RUGS Some electric cleaners clean solely by suction. They remove part of the dirt. Others clean by suction and sweeping. They do better work, but only The HOOVER cleans by suction, by sweeping, thorough sweeping arid by beating, too. So The HOOVER does the best work. Hence it is the most popular, the most widely bought and used. Come see The HOOVER beat —as it sweeps—as it cleans. See it also straighten nap and restore, colorings. Let us explain why it is guaranteed to make floor coverings wear years longer. • '* ’ 1
