TODAY IS THE BIG DAY HERE

Extensive preparations are being made by the Women’s Auxiliary for the benefit of the Dewey Biggs post| to be given today. The merchants today will give 5 per cent of their' sales to the local post to ■■ be used to secure headquarters. Ice cream and delicious home-made cake will be served on the court house lawn. I You can buy home-made doughnuts from the Salvation Army lassies and lemonade will ue sold at the stand. Arrangements are being made for dancing. Kappa Kappa Kappa will be in charge of the entertainment. There will be mummies from Egypt, fairies from Fairyland and music• from Hawaii. “Uncle Dick’s take” will be staged under the same management which so successfully, presented “Mrs. Briggs of the Poul- ‘ try Yard” two years ago. There will be three performances in the ’ big teAt down town,' beginning on the hour at 8, 9 and 10.
