ELEVATOR MANAGER MISSING

Lee Kelley, manager of the Raub Grain Co., a farmers’ organization, has disappeared, leaving the company’s affairs I"! bad shape. Mr. Kelley went to Indianapolis 10 days ago and has not since been seen or heard from. It has since developed that* he was paling on the board of trade but the extent of the losses will not be known until the auditor of his bonding company, now working on the books, makes a report. It is known that Mr. Kelley gave the company’s note without authority, and made sales of grain that cannot be fulfilled, and the company will stand to lose quite heavily on these deals. Mr. Kelley was regarded highly In Raub and his disappearance was a surprise to the community.—Newton County Enterprise.
