INJURIES WERE VERY SEVERE

Mrs. W. H. Sayler, mention of whose injury while out at a Baptist picnic in the grove at the W. H. Mackey home was made in Saturday’s Democrat, was much more seriously hurt than first supposed. The bone In her left arm was broken squarely off near the shoulder and the stub pulled but of the socket. While the arm and shoulder is terribly swollen, she is doing as well as can be expected. The accident occurred by Rev. Sayler attempting to drive his car up an embankment at the grove, killing the engine when near the top, neglecting to put on the brakes, losing control thereof, and the car running back down the Incline, the front wheels cramping short and turning the car over. Mr. Sayler escaped with slight bruises.
