Mrs. George A. Borntrager Magdalena Nellie Dzlabis, the eldest daughter of Valentine and Rosa Dziabis, was born Feb. 2, 1882, and departed this life May 16, 1920. She was therefore 38 years, 3 months and 14 days of age at the time of her death. She was united in mar- J riage to George A. Borntrager Feb. i 16, 1904. To this union four chil-1 dren were born, namely! Edward,: age 14; Evelyn, age 10; Catherine, i nearly 5 years, and the little in-! fant, Mary Magdaline, for which she' gave her life. She was of a very modest character, always kind and; loving to her husband and little ред family, as also the same to her parents from a child on. She was a faithful member of the ( holy Catholic church and always ( ready and willing to do her part with its functions. Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn: her father and mother, two brothers and five sisters, namely: Joseph of near Remington, Mrs. John Moosmiller of Rensselaer, Mrs. L. J. LaFond of Blue Island, 111., Catherine, Anna, Agnes and Peter Paul. No words can express how sadly she is missed on this earth, but we feel sure that Almighty God has taken her to His heavenly home and that she leaves a beautiful example here on earth.
