British Women Government EnW ployees Carry Red Tape In London March. London. —A girl clerk whose arm* and body were wound with red tape, has just led an unusual procession through Whitehall street, the home of government departments, to draw public attention to the demands of women in government employ for equal pay and equal opportunities with men. She was followed by a large number of women employed in the civil service, each of whom carried a poster, while all were linked together with red tape. Inscriptions on the posters were. “Fair Play for Women” and "No Favoritism in the Civil Service.”
