McCray Outfit Passed Through on Way to Storm Lake County. Eight automobiles from Kentland, In charge of W. T. McCray’s secret tary and bearing banners with “McCray for Governor,” printed In large lettersrihereon, passed through Rensselaer Thursday enroute to Lake county on a boosting tour. The same eight machines passed through Goodland, Remington and thence on to Lafayette Wednesday, but the Lafayette Journal’s mathematician multiplied the number by 7% and made it read “60 automobiles.” In speaking of the visit to Remington, the Press (Republican) says: The McCray band wagon visited Remington this week, carrying the inscription: “McCray for governor, we need him.” Well, from the free advertising over the tax and Liberty bond affairs he has been getting, likely, there was just one little word left off the Inscription at the tail end—the little, three-letter word “not”
