Memorial to Soldier-Son.

Aledo, April 2. —As a memorial to his son, Private Floyd D. McGee, who was killed in France, Frank McGee has erected in the Aledo cemetery a life-size statue of Ilie dead soldier. It is of native sandstone. The statue stands on the grave adjoining that of Private McGee’s mother, who died several years ago.
