IS IT TO BE A NEW HOTEL, YES?
' Parties Said to Be From Chicago Buy Norgor Hitch Barn Site. J. J. Norgor has sold the lot on the corner of Cullen and Angelica streets, 50x150 feet in size, where his hitch barn is located, to parties from Chicago, it is understood,. who will put up a large brick and stone building thereon for a hotel, rumor has it. Mr. Norgor is non-committal, merely admitting that he has sold the lot, gets $4,000 for it exclusive of the barn, which he is to get off as soon as possible. If he knows what is to go up there he has evidently been requested to keep it to himself for awhile. It is known that the Standard Oil Co. ha .* been wanting to buy this < lot for some time, for a service station and it may be that that comb pany is the purchaser. The deed has not recorded, if made, and therefore The Democrat is unable to learn who the purchasers are. In any event, it is certain that the lot has been sold and some sort of a building is to be erected on tle ground soon.
